In true Belgian form, it took 4 months to issue our ID cards to us.
This meant that upon receiving them, Dandelion #3's expired in only a matter of weeks, upon her birthday, and Dandelion #4's will also expire on her birthday that is coming up.
Getting a 2 year old to sit perfectly still and look at a black screen with no markings to help...
If you cannot read the captions, the first 2 photos read: This photo may NOT be compliant with the passport standards. If the computer decided the photo was not compliant, you could not choose to print it.
The 3rd photo reads: This photo IS compliant with the passport standards. ?!?!?
Our adventure broke down like this:
- Parking at the mall for 1 hour: €1,20
- 3 sessions in the photo booth: €18,00
- Cookies: €2,00 (We needed "You sat still!" rewards and change for the photo machine.)
- Having another Friday Funnies post: Priceless
