Cousin Time

June brought more visitors...Cousins!!!  My sister and her family flew in from the states to spend two weeks with us.  We saw some fun sites around Belgium, plus we took the kids on a Champagne tour in Reims and Epernay, France cause...why not?!
We spent a lot of time just hanging out and playing around the house.

There is a big manor just around the corner from our house and they happened to have their grounds open to the public one day, so we walked through...

One day we went and explored and had a picnic at the beautiful Abbaye de Villers...

GORGEOUS and impressive.  It dates back to the early 1200s.

Uncle (and the hubs) enjoyed a tour and tasting at the Chimay Brewery.

Reims, France

Stain glass by Marc Chagall in the Reims cathedral.  Um, awesome!  He's one of the artists we've studied in CC.

Epernay, France

Teaching them young...
...about the fine art of champagne making.
The kids all thought that the train ride through the cellar was awesome.

A toast, to Cousin Time!
