September began with a visit from Uncle J. Awesome! The boys all had a grand time touring battlefields in Belgium. They did Waterloo one day, then Bastogne another.

Our homeschool co-op started back up in September.

The fall season also brought the onslaught of sports. In years past, if it wasn't during the homeschool day, we didn't do sports. I was really spoiled with the options of athletics during the day back in the states, and confess that I am not keen on the craziness of afternoon and evening activities. However, we don't have the option of daytime things here, so the boys began soccer with an English speaking International league.
Everyone was signed up for swimming...though the smallest Dandelion refused to get in the water, so she watches, without complaint, from the side of the pool.

Dandelion #3's ballet classes started up again after the summer break. Dandelion #4 cannot wait to join in on those.
The boys also did a six week lacrosse clinic. We figured, we're in Europe, so what a great opportunity to expose them to sports they'll likely never get to play again.
Fall time also brought the usual school schedule, lots of doctors appointments, and more visitors...
