Our new home for a few years:
No, it's not the castle. We decided the castle was a really great property, but a terrible house to live in. The third floor leaned so badly you couldn't put furniture on one side of the rooms. It's also not our first choice. We decided we really loved the big, newer house in the suburbs and negotiated the price down, but then the landlord turned around the next day and changed her mind. I was really disappointed.
However, this house is very nice and while it lacks curb appeal and isn't exactly our style, it is in a great location, it is huge and the garden is lovely. Our landlady is delightful and it's right on budget. So, if all goes well with this lease, it will be our home for the next 3 years!
I am eager to plant some flowers!
(Oh, and if you remember several posts back, our kids prayed for an apple tree at our new house. No apples, but we have a big cherry tree! Thank you, Lord!)

Wow! what an adventure, my friend!! So glad that you have found a home - the castle would have been awesome, but practicality would soon over-ride the awesomeness of saying "We live in a castle... with a moat." (Ok- it may have taken awhile for practicality to overcome it. Living in a castle sounds amazing!) I am truly happy for you and that the family will be able to get into a routine. Unpredictability with 4 darlings is tough! Miss you lots!
