Happy 4th of July!
It actually felt very weird in the morning because it was a normal day here. Alan had to go to work and the kids and I ran errands. No holiday hours, store closures or "Happy 4th of July" greetings anywhere.
In the evening, though, we went to American friends' house to have a BBQ. We were joined by a British family, too, who texted before their arrival, "The Redcoats are on their way."
Good food, good friends and fun memories!
